Belarusian dies after falling 48 meters from crane in Russia

A worker from Belarus fell from the tower crane at a construction site near Saint Petersburg.

The tragedy occurred around 16:30 on April 10 in the village Lavrik of the Vsevolzhski district of Leningrad region. According to one of the preliminary reports, the driver could have been wiping the glass of the cab from the outside, when he lost control and fell. He died from injuries at the scene.

According to Russian media reports, the man was 52 years old. He had worked on the building site in Russia since last autumn.
