Viktor Yanukovych has agreed on armistice with Vitali Klitschko, Arseni Yatsenyuk, Oleg Tsiahnibok, the statement on the presidential website says.
To end the lasting bloodshed, they agreed to start ‘talks’ and try to stabilise ‘the situation in the state in the interests of social peace’.
It is to be recalled that at least 26 people died in protests this week, more than 300 are reported to be injured. A lot of EuroMaidan protesters are seeking the resignation of Mr Yanukovych and the Cabinet of Ministers.
