Where are the protesters in Kyiv sleeping, what are they eating and what are the protest HQ in charge of? Our photojournalist has summed up the situation being in the very heart of EuroMaidan.

Now hundreds of volunteers are working double tides to run the protesters’ camp in the centre of Kyiv. Important decisions are taken not only there but also in so called headquarters located in the buildings of government agencies which were earlier besieged and occupied by protesters.

At the moment there are think-tanks, opposition’s press centre, a canteen, sleeping bags on the floor in the buildings of Kyiv Rada [Council] and Trade Unions’ Rada.

A group of enthusiasts keep blocking the activity of central and local authorities (Watch online). Meanwhile, executives are referring to the court’s prohibition on such actions.

In its turn, opposition activists state that in such a way they are ‘blocking evil deeds of the Ukrainian government’ and ask those who have taken to the streets not to give up.

According to Ukrainian police, 64 crimes have been registered since protest actions in EuroMaidan started. At the moment 14 persons are under arrest.
