Belarusian opposition leader Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya is taking part in the Warsaw Security Forum (WSF). Established in 2014, the Forum is a leading conference in Central and Eastern Europe’ it is devoted to issues of international security.

They wished “the best” for Lukashenka

On June 4, Belarusian opposition leader Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya, who arrived in Warsaw a day earlier, met with Poland’s President Andrzej Duda. Valery Kavaleuski, Tsikhanouskaya’s international affairs adviser, and Pavel Latushka, the head of the People’s Anti-Crisis Administration, were in the Belarusian delegation as well.

In the centre of Warsaw, in front of the local office of the European Commission, five people dressed in blankets and Belarusian flags are sitting on camping chairs. They have been drinking only water for a few three days now.

They appealed to Lukashenka to free Belarus from himself.

On April 23, representatives of Belsat TV and the Belarusian diaspora in Poland will be holding a picket of solidarity with our jailed colleagues Katsyaryna Andreyeva and Darya Chultsova as well as all independent journalists persecuted by the Belarusian authorities.

The International Day of Solidarity with Belarus has been held globally.

Former Belarusian diplomat and minister Pavel Latushka is now in charge of the People’s Anti-Crisis Administration (PAA). In an interview with Belsat, the opposition leader commented on the post-election protest situation and made mention of his being under the KGB’s scrutiny.

On November 26, the exhibition ‘Belarus Is Wide Awake’ opened in the capital city of Poland. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is held in the open air.
