In Belarus, 546 people have already been recognized as political prisoners.

On the back of the talks between the presidents of the United States and Russia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told Echo of Moscow that the parties failed to bring closer their positions on Belarus.

On April 26, Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with heads of missions of Germany, France, Great Britain, United States, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Poland to the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The missions mentioned above supported the Moscow Mechanism, the press service reports.

Belarusian opposition leader Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya held an online meeting with the ambassadors of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Canada. The participants discussed the preparations for would-be talks on a peaceful resolution of the crisis in Belarus.
