The Belarusian government has banned the import of goods produced by a number of companies in light of ‘unfriendly actions against the Belarusian people’. The corresponding decision was made by the Council of Ministers on April 23.

Belarus has introduced a temporary ban on importing certain Nivea products. The corresponding resolution was signed by the chief state sanitary doctor Alyaksandr Tarasenka.

The company announced this on its Instagram account.

The day before, the same decision was announced by the Nivea concern, which caused a wave of gratitude from Belarusians.

The Nivea brand will not sponsor the 2021 Ice Hockey World Championship if Minsk turns to be one of its venues, the company’s representatives said on Instagram when asked by Belarusian user by_moor.
