Support for Belarusians remains a priority

Minsk is recalling its ambassadors to Poland and Lithuania for consultations and encouraging the two neighbouring countries to do the same.

Belarusian presidential candidate Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya is ‘safe in Lithuania’, the country’s Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius said on Twitter on Tuesday morning.

Lithuania can offer Belarus an alternative to oil and gas imports from Russia, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius said, BNS reports.
