Ihar Yarmolau

On June 10, Maskouski district court of Minsk passed the verdict in the case of four volunteers who were engaged in the activity of the election office of the currently imprisoned politician Viktar Babaryka, human rights centre Viasna reports.

Ihar Yarmolau, a former IT specialist and now the owner of a dance school, joined Viktar Babaryka’s campaign team as a volunteer in the summer. The man was collecting signatures for the presidential hopeful in Kastrychnitski district of Minsk.
