Darya Chultsova at PRIX Europa: 'Years of imprisonment is the price you pay for telling the truth.'
Belsat TV journalist Darya Chultsova, released on September 3 after two years in a penal colony in Belarus, was honored at the PRIX Europa-2022 festival in Potsdam. She was awarded along with Katsyaryna Andreyeva a year ago, but she was only able to receive her statuette now – two months after leaving Lukashenka’s prison.

Belarusian political prisoner Andrzej Poczobut recognised Journalist of Year 2021 by Polish magazine Press
Andrzej Poczobut, a Hrodna-based reporter for the newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza and Belarusian political prisoner of Polish descent, was awarded the title of Journalist of the Year 2021 at the Polish journalistic contest Grand Press. For the first time, he got the title of the Journalist of the Year in 2011. Then he was a prisoner of conscience too.
