The case of artist Ales Pushkin has been submitted to court, the Belarusian Prosecutor General’s Office reports.

Ales Pushkin, who was taken into cstody in late March, has founded Prison, an art community for Belarusian artists.

Hrodna activists have started collecting signatures under the petition in support of the local Centre for Urban Life.

On April 6, seven Belarusian human rights watchdogs issued a joint statement on the arrest and criminal prosecution of artist and activist Ales Pushkin.
