Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have expand their national blacklists of persons who are not allowed to enter the territories of the Baltic states ‘in solidarity with the Belarusian people celebrating Freedom Day

Another protest march is to kick off at 2 pm in the Belarusian cities and towns. Opposition leader Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya has voiced support for everyone who are going to participate in today’s protests.

On 25 August 1991, the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Belarus entered into force. Belarus utterly and completely left the USSR and officially became a sovereign state.
