The Belarusian Information Ministry issued a broadcasting permit to the Russian TV channel Let’s Go!

According to the ministry, the permit is valid for three years.

The target audience of the TV station is those who have an itch to travel around Russia and seek to ‘learn more about the country, the nature of its regions, historical and cultural landmarks, and, of course, people’.

‘Let’s Go!’ is expected to provide information about the services, itineraries, excursions and prices.

In August, the Russian military-patriotic TV Ratnik was allowed to broadcast in Belarus. The channel has an obvious militaristic direction, pays much attention to the army, weapons and military history.

Russian television is considered to a kinds of the Kremlin’s soft power, a tool for bearing influence on Russian-speaking citizens of the former USSR.
