The chairwoman of the Belarus Central Electoral Commission noted the lack of activity in the run-up to the presidential elections, BELTA reports.
Lidziya Yarmoshyna noted with regret that there was little activity on the part of public associations and political parties, according to the CEC.
“Such a gloomy silence is inexplicable and short-sighted,” she said.
“The highest activity is observed with the Belarusian Republican Youth Union and Belaya Rus party,” shared her observations Lidziya Yarmoshyna.
“I’m really counting on these civil forces. … They are disciplined and well prepared,” said Lidziya Yarmoshyna during a seminar “Belarus at the present stage of development: the socio-political and economic analysis” which was held for members of the Belaya Rus.
