Wreath with skulls laid at Lenin monument


Byaroza activists have held a rally to remind people of the millions of Bolshevism victims. In addition to the symbolic skulls, the wreath had an inscription “Executioner, burn in hell” and a barbed wire.

According to the activist Vitald Ashurak, half an hour later, the wreath was gone.

The action took place on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Bolshevik October revolution. Traditionally, on the 7th of November, the Belarusian Communists lay flowers at the Lenin’s monument. At the same time, a number of activists protesting against the perpetuation of the executioners. Last year, during a protest held at the opening of the monument to Lenin, “Young Front” activists were detained near the Minsk Tractor Plant.
