According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Viktar Kisly’s fortune has passed the $1 bn mark, which makes the 39-year-old businessman the first billionaire in Belarus.
The value of Wargaming founded by Kisly in 1998 is assessed at $1.5 bn. The business has 4,000 employees on four continents and revenue of $590 million in 2015, according to data compiled by Bloomberg and estimates by analysts. 150 million global users are involved in games made by Kisly’s empire.
Kisly declined to comment on the valuation, saying only that he has a “very modest” lifestyle and has never tried to put a number on his fortune.
