On Sunday Belarusian athlete Vital Hurkou won the final of the Muay Thai tournament as part of the World Games-2017 in Wroclaw, Poland.
Muay Thai was included into the Official Sports Program amongst 29 other sports.
Hurkou (weight category 75 kg) encountered Ukrainian boxer Vasily Sorokin who confidently defeated the 2017 World Champion Ivan Grigoriev on July, 29.
In the first round of the Belarusian athlete was better by all odds, but in the second he backed down, In the third round Vital Hurkou changed tactics and pulled off a win, by.tribuna.com reports.
