A recent video of Igor Plotnitsky, the head of the so-called Luhansk republic, made a stir among Russian-language social network users. Holding a meeting, Plotnitsky, a leader of Russian-backed militants in Luhansk, voiced the ‘government’ action plan. In particular, he explained to local ‘officials’ where they can get purchased potatoes, carrots and onions…

According to the separatist leader, a number of ‘ministries’ have not paid for the batches of vegetables they ordered before. Moreover, their representatives are too slow to collect them.

“You placed an order for potatoes and other vegetables, everything has been already purchased. You do have money, why haven’t you collect [vegetables]?” Plotnitsky asked Stanislav Vinokurov who is Acting ‘Minister for Youth and Sports’ at the moment.

When Vinokurov said he did not know where and how the potatoes were to be collected, he came under fire.

“Stanislav Evgenievich, don’t you know where our warehouses are situated? Don’t you know who is responsible for that?” Plotnitsky said.

After the so-called minister admitted his not being aware of the manner of payment, which is a clear illustration of the present-day mayhem in the ‘republic’, Plotnitsky promised in the roundest manner that the ‘minister’ would be fired and the ‘ministry’ would be disbanded.

“You have done nothing but roundarounds for the period given! People are complaining!”

Vinokurov’s idea to host the Paralympic Games was not approved either.

“According to reports, in a television interview you stated that the Paralympic Games would be held in the republic. Did you say that? From whom did you receive approval for that? Who will sponsor these games? Maybe you? The minister who cannot find three rubles singlehandedly is going to hold the games…

Neither I, nor our finance minister knew about your plans. Whom are you going to invite to the unrecognized republic?” the separatist leader wondered.

After Vinokurov revealed that only Luhansk and Donetsk athletes were expected to participate in the event, Plotnitsky sarcastically exclaimed: “Thus, it will be the Paralympics between two states?!”
