The lion’s share of the EU aid for Belarus is spent ineffectively and ends up with the mediators, claims the head of the international public organization “Understanding” Andrei Makhanko in the program “Talk Of the Day”.
According to the results of the recent “Eastern Partnership” summit, the European Union will spend 136 million euros on social initiatives and projects in Belarus.
This money may once again go to the arbitrary intermediaries, added concerned Makhanko. They make use of the 95-99% of the aid, and use the rest to hire Belarusian NGOs.
