Google has published the final rating of the most popular search requests of Belarusian users.
In 2019, it was the singer Yulia Nachalova, who died this year, actress Anastasia Zavorotnyuk and season 8 of the Games of Thrones that interested Belarusians the most.
Google has also published statistics on various categories: films, TV series, goods, etc.
The most frequent request in the category “movies” was the movie “Avengers: Endgame”. The second most popular request was the psychological thriller “Joker”. Third place went to the movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
Belarusians were also interested in TV shows but none of them were Belarusian. And the top-3 TV shows were “Eurovision – 2019,” “Plan B” and “Battle of Psychics”.
In the category of goods, Belarusians most often searched for fans. Slightly less often, Belarusians were looking for cars from Germany, while in third place are air conditioners.
The company specifies that the rating is made taking into account the search queries, for which the biggest growth of traffic in the current year compared to the previous year is marked.
