Since recently, President Alyaksandr Lukashenka has had a new plane at his disposal, popular Belarusian blogger NEXTA reports with reference to his sources in Minsk Airport.
The private business jet Gulfstream G550 has a tail number EW-001PJ, the colours of its livery are red and green, i.e. those of the Belarusian flag. According to the catalog, such plane costs $61.5 mln; its range is 12,500 km.
The new flying machine arrived in Minsk in September, 2018. So far, it has performed only one flight; the destination being Warsaw.
Earlier, there were reports that the Belarusian leader’s aircraft park Lukashenko included three planest: an American Boeing 737-800 / BBJ2 EW-001PA, a Canadian Bombardier Challenger 850 EW-301PJ, Yak-40 EW-88 187, and a helicopter Mil Mi-8 EW-25049. In 2018, the Tupolev Tu-154M that used to play the role of Executive One was put up for sale for $2 mln.
