UAE prince has house in Belarus - Lukashenka


On September 13, Belarusian president Alyaksandr Lukashenka has held talks with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who has arrived in Belarus for the first time.

According to Lukashenka, Belarus is not an alien country for the crown prince, with whom he is reportedly on friendly terms.

“Besides, you have your own house here,” the press service quotes the Belarusian leader.

There are no problems and points of concern in the relations between the two countries, he stressed.

“I am convinced that your visit to Belarus will give a serous impetus in the economy, trade and investment,” Lukashenka added.

A holding of the United Arab Emirates, which covers an area of ​​3,210 hectares, is located in Lahoysk district (Minsk region). In 2014, it was leased out to the UAE for 99 years. In 2018, the annual rental payment reached $440,000.
