U.S. grants visas to 80% of Belarusians applicants


The U.S. State Department has published statistics on national tourist visa denials for 2019.

According to the official information, this year the U.S. denied a visa to 21.93% of Belarusians who applied for it.

Of the neighbors, the lowest refusal rate is among Polish citizens — only 2.76%, followed by Russia with 15.19% of refusals. In Lithuania, this figure is 18.67%, in Latvia – 18.98%, in Ukraine – 45.06%.

The USA refused a tourist visa to all applicants from Micronesia, North Korea and Palau. Not a single refusal was received by citizens of Liechtenstein and Western Sahara.
