At least 5 thousand people gathered at Lenin Square in Hrodna on August 15. Many young people, workers of Hrodna enterprises, families with children. People on the square read out the demands:
1. Immediate resignation of Lukashenka
2. Immediate release of all political prisoners.
3. Immediate resignation and arrest of the heads of the Interior Ministry, including riot police, for using traumatic and firearms against peaceful protesters.
4. Immediate resignation and arrest of the heads of the Central Election Commission, headed by Yarmoshyna, for organizing mass falsifications.
The residents of Hrodna remind the executive authorities that independence is the highest value of our state.
“Any encroachment on the independence of Belarus, on the life, health and safety of any citizen of the Republic of Belarus, regardless of his political views, is a crime”.
