Syrian kids to improve health in Belarus

Belarus president Alyaksandr Lukashenka has given an order to allocate money for the recreation of 80 children from Syria.

They will stay in Belarus on August 14-28. Half of them will go to the children’s educational and health center Zubranya,  the rest will spend the two weeks in Krynichka holiday colony. The young Syrians will be initiated into Belarusian traditions and culture, the presidential  press service says.

The Belarusian authorities hope that the project will contribute to developing the Belarusian-Syrian relations and strengthening the positive image of Belarus abroad.

In 2011,  Belarus offered rehabilitation ti Japanese children from earthquake-affected areas.
