Guests of the Two by Two discussed why the Russian propagandists are so afraid of the spread of litvinism in Belarus and exaggerate its scope.
“In my opinion, the real Litvinization of Belarus in the sense of the value of our independence and our state is the only way out of the plan currently developed by our eastern neighbor, Moscow. God forbid, but who will stand on the eastern border, when somebody wants to make here a second Novorossiya?” asked the doctor of historical sciences Svyatlana Kul.
In his turn, the political analyst Yury Chavusau noted that ‘ideas do not shoot’ and do not stand to protect the border. It is done by institutions. The only thing that we have now are very formal and unsightly institutions of the state, the analyst believes. He adds that you can create something in addition to it, but it should not be destroyed.
