‘Russian citizenship in the offing’: Steven Seagal eats caviar in Sakhalin

Famous U.S. actor and film director Sreven Seagal arrived at the Russian island of Sakhalin where he was welcomed by girls in national costumes who treated him with a Russian cottage loaf and red caviar.

Talking to journalists, Seagal did not rule out the journalists that he would be granted receive Russian citizenship soon.

“I think that Russia’s citizenship is somewhere in the offing. I’d really like to spend a few months per year with my friends in Russia, with the people who love me here and wait for me,” the American actor said.

When asked whether information about his commercial interest in Sakhalin, Steven Seagal said that Sakhalin ‘has a very good potential for business’. Its proximity to Japan also attracts the U.S. film star.

In late August, Steven Seagal visited Belarus and met with Belarusian president Alyaksandr Lukashenka. he took the decision to buy property in the residential estate Mayak Minsk and even invest ‘millions of dollars’ in its developer Dana Holdings.
