Strip and War: International Film Critics award movie made with Belsat TV contribution
The International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) has awarded the International Critics Prize to Strip and War (director Andrey Kutsila) at goEast Film Festival in Wiesbaden.
The documentary made with Belsat TV contribution had its premiere at the high-profile event in Germany.
It is noteworthy that the main section included both full-length fiction and documentary films; the organizers did not class them into categories.
As reported earlier, Strip and War was officially selected for Hot Docs, the biggest documentary festival in North America.
The film will be presented in the World Showcase program, in which the best documentary films from around the world take part. The participation offers the opportunity to receive the Audience Award.
The film crew had been working on the film for about four years.
