Street art: Little green men in Brest

Activists have put an unusual picture on the wall of a building in the centre of the Belarusian city of Brest.

It features uniformed soldiers without any insignia, a flying saucer and the inscription: “You don’t speak your native language? Then green men may visit you!”

‘Little green men’ – troops in uniform of unclear national origin – gained notoriety during Russia’s annexation of Crimea in March, 2014. In should be noted that the residents of Crimea mainly use Russian in their daily communication. Unknown artists keep reminding the locals of the aggressive threat.
