Startup contest to be held in Minsk

The application process for participation in the 2nd International startup project competition BizTech BSU StartUp Contest is now open. It will be held from April 20 to May 20 in Minsk.

The international competition involves the public presentation of business ideas and potential startups with defense in front of representatives of the business community, the banking sector and the Economics Faculty of the Belarusian State University.

Schoolchildren, university students, young scientists and entrepreneurs who have startup projects at any stage of development are invited to participate in the contest. The best start-ups will be selected in the categories “BizTech Junior” (for schoolchildren), “Socially Significant Start-up”, “Educational Start-up”, “Fintech Start-up”, “Global Start-up”. Winners of the contest will receive valuable gifts from sponsors, they will find investors and will be able to undergo training in companies that have shown interest in their start-up projects.

The Business Innovation Center of EEN Belarus will support the placement of projects in the European Network for Support of Technology Transfer, Enterprise Development and the Establishment of the Partnership in Scientific Research of the EEN.

The competition is organized by the Economic Informatics Chair of BSU.,
