As of today, 152 coronavirus cases have been recorded in the country.

In the past 24 hours, 110 persons [allegedly with suspected COVID-19 – Belsat] have been hospitalised; 144 persons have been discharged, including those who were in contect with the infection carriers, the Health Ministry reports.

Notably, the ministry has updated the information on the number of the ill for the first time in three days, which takes its toll on mounting concerns. On March 27, there were official reports about 94 coronavirus cases in Belarus.

For now, 47 people who were previuosly tested positive for the novel coronavirus have been checked out of hospitals or are facing discharge, the press service says on Telegram. 105 people are being under medical supervision and treatment. As it follows from the above, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has reached 152.

More than 30,000 coronavirus tests have been conducted since the infection started to spread in Belarus. There has been no official information about coronavirus deaths so far.

As reported earlier, the Council of Ministers is taking measures to prevent and spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Belarus. In particular, the government bound the arrivals from abroad to self-isolate for 14 days. At the same time, the Health Ministry is still refraining from recommendations to impose quarantine measures on educational institutions due to ‘inexpedience’.
