On Sunday, Hukannie Vyasny (Calling Spring), a traditional feast, was celebrated in Vyazynka (Minsk region), the native village of the famous Belarusian poet Yanka Kupala.
On this day, one should have fun, sing and dance in order to ‘invite’ spring to the country, our ancestors believed.
