Recreation prices in health centers and resorts in Belarus including for Russian tourists have doubled the past two years, the Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), Maya Lomidze, said, “RIA Novosti” reports.
Speaking at a press conference about the situation in the industry, she noted that Belarus remains a long-term leader among the CIS countries in the number of vouchers sold to Russians.
“The situation has not changed yet, although the prices of vacation in this country have risen a lot. Its popularity was explained by the fact that vacations in Belarus cost much cheaper than at similar health centers in Russia,” explained the representative of ATOR.
She specified that over the past two years the price of tourist product in Belarus has almost doubled.
