Russian Ministry of Culture to spend $65K on 'history falsification' conference in Belarus


The Russian Ministry of Culture is going to organize in Belarus two round tables and an exhibition “The role of Russian and Belarusian culture in preserving historical memory and countering falsification of history”. The Russian Ministry of Culture will spend 4.2 million Russian rubles (about $ 65,000) on these events.

The tender for the exhibition and round tables is available on the official government procurement portal.

According to the documents, the events will be held on April 20 with the participation of the Russian Military Historical Association. The declared number of participants is from 76 to 110.

The Russian Military Historical Association is headed by former Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinskiy.

The budget of the events provides for cold and hot snacks, desserts and drinks. Guests are planned to stay in 3 or 4 star hotels.
