A ‘Russian military team’ traveling from Russia’s Kaliningrad to Moscow was detained on Thursday evening, a spokesman for the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service said.

Around 9 pm border guards were inspecting the Kaliningrad-Moscow transit train at Kibartai on the border of Kaliningrad region. They were accompanied with an officer of the Centre of Control over the Lithuanian Army’s Movement.

“During checking documents, it became clear that there were four Russian military in civilian clothes in the same compartment,” said spokesman Gedrius Misutis.
