Russian airstrikes in Syria reportedly kill 18,000 people


Russian airstrikes in Syria have killed more than 18,000 people over the past three years, a Syrian war monitor claims.

According to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the Russian involvement took the lives of about 18,100 persons, including about 8,000 Syrian civilians including 3,135 children and women. the Russian military also killed around 10,000 fighters of Daesh and other Islamic groups.

The data provided by the human rights watchdog are in marked contrast to official information reported by Russia.
