Roofless block, broken trees: How Belarus lives through wind and weather (photos)

On Monday evening, all Belarusian regions were assailed by a violent hailstorm.
According to the Emergency Situations Ministry, yesterday’s wind speed reaches 29 m/s. The agency recorded 446 cases of trees’ falling; 25 cars were damaged. By the moment, there have been no reports about deaths or serious injures.
In Homiel, the roof of a five-storey block was blown off.
Urban functionalities were heavily damaged in Khoyniki, Dobrush, Mazyr, Svetlahorsk and Rechytsa. 200 localities and 50 farms in Pinsk, Baranavichi, Ivatsevichy, Drahichyn, Ivanava regions lost power.
