Rosselkhoznadzor asked Minsk not to resell Pakistani fruits

The Russian agency “doubted the authenticity of fruit supply routes” and turned to Belarus with a request.

This is stated in the message published on the Rosselkhoznadzor online page.

The text refers to the Pakistani fruits, including pears, coming to Belarus to be then re-exported into Russia.

“In order to prevent the entry of agricultural products that fall under the embargo set by the President and the Government of Russia, as well as import of dangerous products, Rosselkhoznadzor asked the Belarusian side to stop issuing phytosanitary certificates and re-exporting fruit and vegetable products from Pakistan on 2 October 2016,” noted Rosselkhoznadzor.
