Putin’s motorheads to arrive in Belarus

The votaries of Russia’s annexation of Crimea are set to hold a motorcycle rally in favour of Moscow Patriarhate.

Members of  biker club ‘Night Wolves’, vocal supporters of the country’s intervention in Ukraine and co-organisers of Antimaidan in Russia, are going to visit Belarus, its official website says. The club is headed by Putin’s friend Alexander Zaldostanov aka Khirurg (Surgeon).

The event is expected to be under the patronage of Russia’s Ministry of Culture and Federal Tourism Agency. The rally is considered as ‘a pilgrim trip in support of the Orthodox Church’. In February, 4-8 ‘Putin’s bikers’ will be on the route Moscow-Smolensk-Polatsk-Minsk-Homel-Bryansk.

Interestingly, a pro-Russian rally organised by Night Wolves in Crimea in March was coincident with the beginning of the annexation of the peninsula.
