Protesters dismantle USSR Marshal Zhukov bust in Kharkiv


The video of the “toppling down” of the Soviet commander’s bust was published by a media project @StudMedia.

It is noted that several dozen people staged a protest against the congress of the political party “Believe in Actions” followed by dismantling of the bust of Zhukov located nearby.

The protesters climbed onto the monument, threw a rope over it and threw the monument to the ground. Law enforcement officers filmed what was happening on the phone. Instead of the bust, he protesters set up the Ukrainian flag.

The monument was installed in 2012. Last year, unknown persons also toppled this bust to the ground.
