Political prisoner Liliya Ulasava was released from the KGB jail, reports TUT.BY.
Ulasava was put on house arrest.
It was also reported that political technologist Vital Shklyarau was also moved from the detention facility to the house arrest.
Liliya Ulasava, a member of the Presidium of the Coordination Council, a well-known lawyer and international mediator, was detained on August 31 by the Financial Investigation Department of the SCC. A criminal case was initiated against Ulasava under Part 2 of Article 243 of the Criminal Code (tax evasion).
Thus, since Lukashenka’s visit to the KGB remand center, the preventive measure has been changed for seven political prisoners.
