According to Belsat correspondent in Babruisk Maryna Malchanava, the street, where the ‘anti-parade’ rally had been planned, was closed.
Traffic police patrols are lining the Minsk street in Babruisk.
“Only public transport is allowed on the street. Traffic police are parked in every yard. People in civilian clothes walk back and forth in the street,” said the correspondent of Belsat in Babruisk Maryna Malchanava.
Internet users, who were planning to take part in the anti-parade, also reported on the blocked streets. The rally was planned by supporters of the blogger Siarhey Tsikhanouski, who had announced his intention to participate in the presidential race.
