Photojournalist Viyaleta Sauchyts found guilty of taking part in rally she was covering

BelaPAN photojournalist Viyaleta Sauchyts was found guilty of taking part in an unauthorized rally on October 22, which she covered, the “Belarusian Association of Journalists” reported.
On December 21, a Minsk court fined the journalist 30 basic units (810 rubles) under Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code. The journalist found out about this only on December 24.
At the rally of people with disabilities on October 22, Viyaleta Sauchyts was not detained. The protocol was drawn up after the event.
