Pavel Vinahradau shows judge the finger and hangs white-red-white flags

Activists of the “Zmena” civil campaign posted national flags and posters with a portrait of their leader Pavel Vinahradau at the bus stops in Minsk.

“The purpose of the action is to send greetings to the citizens, who have been supervizing me for 6 months,” said Vinahradau in an interview with our correspondent.

The public activist Pavel Vinahradau again had preventive supervision established over him. The relevant decision was made by the court of the Moscow district of the capital, allegedly because Vinahradau had never shown signs of improved behavior.

“I am sending greetings to those who came up with idea to supervise me. Namely, the penal inspection of the Moscow police department and judge Sushko from the Moscow Court,” Pavel said to the judge and the police.

Vinahradau was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment in the Square case. In September of 2011, he was released in accordance with the decree of Lukashenka for clemency. At the same time the activist had preventive supervision of 3.5 years set over him. Vinahradau has been registered in the Moscow police department of the capital since November 3, 2015.

What is Zmena?

“Zmena is a community of people of different ages and political views that do not like when people who are commonly called dictators behave the way they do. And we were lucky (or unlucky) to be born just in the country where there is such a disgusting fellow,” activists wrote about themselves.
