Passenger plane crashes in Kazakhstan leaving 9 people dead


A passenger plane with 100 people on board has crashed in the Kazakh city of Almaty. The Kazakh Interior Ministry’s Committee on Emergency Situations reports deaths and injuries.

The aircraft of Beck Air was flying from Almaty to Nur-Sultan. There were 95 passengers and 5 crew members on board.

It crashed during the take-off. The plane fell on residential buildings.

According to preliminary information, 9 people were killed and 9 others were injured.
