Opposition leader Lyabedzka fined for collecting signatures against Minister Raukou

A Minsk court has found the chairman of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka guilty of violation of the order of organizing and holding mass events and fined him 1,150 rubles.

The basis for the protocol was the politician’s collecting of signatures for the resignation of Belarus Defense Minister Andrei Raukou in connection with the Korzhych case.

Mr Lyabedzka was tried in absentia, although he did come to the courthouse. The hearing took place, while the politician was investigating the circumstances of the administrative process against him and wroting a complaint.

Сегодняшний процесс это триумф мерзости и подлости. Меня судили без моего участия хотя я все время был в здании суда. Полный треш
