Only one president congratulated Belarusians with BNR centennial

Congratulation on the occasion of the proclamation of the Belarusian People’s Republic was published on the page of Andrzej Duda.

On March 25, 1918 the Belarusian People’s Republic was proclaimed. On the 100th anniversary of this event, I want to convey to all Belarusians, with whom the Polish people are united by a common history and culture, the heartfelt wishes of all the best and success in building their homeland, the Polish President’s appeal says.

Andrzej Duda became the first president who congratulated the Belarusians. Alyaksandr Lukashenka ignored the date.
