North Korea’s first-ever envoy to Belarus arrives


On April 11, Belarusian Deputy Minister Andrey Dapkiunas met with Ju Jong Bong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Korea to the Republic of Belarus.

The Belarusian diplomat welcomed the country decision to appoint the first in the history of the bilateral relations Ambassador to Belarus with the residence in Minsk, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The Ambassador presented to the Deputy Minister the copies of his credentials. The sides discussed current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, as well as cooperation within international organizations.
