'No summons, but come to us': Belarus police harassing Belsat TV journos

Belarusian law enforcers demand Belsat TV journalists should appear at a police station and give some explanations.

«Без позвы не прыеду», – рэзюміравала яна.

But the police thresspass against the law by failing to subpoena them.

“Some phone freaks who introduced themselves the Barysau police said that they wanted to see me. But I told him I would not come without being summoned,” Volha Czajczyc says.

Belsat TV cameraman Syarhei Kavaliou says that he has also been called to the Barysau police.

On March 18, Volha Czajczyc and Syarhei Kavaliou were livestreaming a ‘non-parasite’ protest rally in the town. They were detained during the live broadcast.
