No criminal case in sight over Raman Bandarenka's death, his sister writes

Volha Kucharenka recently wrote on Instagram that the Prosecutor General’s Office sees no reason to initiate a criminal investigation into the murder of Raman Bandarenka, and the inspection of the circumstances of the man’s death continues.

The woman notes that the agency even asked about Raman’s favorite alcoholic beverage, as well as whether his relatives know the passwords to his gadgets.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office has given many refusals to requests and petitions, because there is no criminal case, so Bandarenka’s mother was not recognized as a victim, and she is not allowed to get acquainted with anything. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about him. Almost every action I take is accompanied by thoughts of Roma”, writes Volha Kucharenka, cousin of Raman.

On January 12, Minsk residents came out to commemorate the murder of Raman Bandarenka from two months ago, but law enforcement officers prevented the commemoration. At least 12 people were detained during the yard marches.
