Granny, Vanya and the Goat

The action of the movie by Darya Yurkevich takes place in a small Belarusian village. Granny Serafima’s life is revolving around her son, alcoholic addict Vanya. Supported only by her white goat Manka, she starts the war against her neighbour Glasha who produces moonshine and sells it in the village.

Easter

Every year at Easter the Church is swarmed with people, many of whom come here only once a year. „What are they expecting of the holiday? What are their dreams and hopes? What are they looking for? Why is this particular day so important for them?” film director Darya Yurkevich wonders. [/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”42580″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]

About Love: Ira

“This is the story of a young woman, Ira, who lives like all of us between love and dislike, with quarrels, routine, unrealized dreams and hope for the best. But first of all, this story is about love, love for the difficult and crazy life, about love, that is nothing like the love in the Bible and the idealistic sense which the word often conveys. The film is about love, destiny, life … About all of us,” director Lyubou Zyamtsova says.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The movies will be televised on November 22 at 20:25 (Minsk time). One can also watch them online on belsat.eu[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
